Re: Public school and the Christian parent
I agree that if a parent is intelligent enough to teach their children at home; to ensure they are being taught Christian principles, then by all means that is the best choice. If a qualified Apostolic Christian School is near you then by all means send your children there. But to condemn people to hell for sending their children to a public school is injudicious.
As a parent my children have had both positive and negative experiences in public schools. My children have had both positive and negative experiences in Sunday School, Vacations, Church Services, Family Reunions and Church Camp. There are negative influences in every strata of our society and we as parents must teach our children the ways of the Lord. It is parents responsibility to ensure their children have been taught to walk with their Creator. That everything on earth is temporal; and our relationship with Christ today, is preparation for eternity.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
My wife has been a teacher for 16 years and a principle for 10 years in public schools. So your condescending attitude toward the professionals who dedicate their lives to the enrichment of children is misplaced. For most children my wife is the only godly woman these kids will ever meet. Though the world is a wicked place God will always have a remnant of his children shining the light in all institutions. The parents are accountable for their children by participating in their education, lives and praying for their protection.
Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Both my wife and I would agree with your assessment that public schools are getting more liberal. We know that our higher education institutions are being perverted by cultural Marxists. My twin daughters are seniors at VT and they see this socialistic agenda being pushed. There is evil everywhere and a parent has to equip their children to lean on the Lord to get through life.
Ephesians 6:4 (KJV) And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
I read your scripture references to validate your position. For scriptural discernment one must consider a text's context to avoid a pretext. Parents are responsible for correction, protection and teaching their children to prepare them for this wicked world. When they are grown; we continue to pray for them, and guide them for the rest of their lives. But when they stand before their maker they are responsible for their walk as I am responsible for my walk.
Philippians 2:12 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Perhaps your wife's employment for 26 years in public education has biased your opinion. The Scriptures are absolutely and undeniably clear that Christian parents are responsible to God for whatever education their children receive, and that it is sin to place children in the care of the wicked and ungodly or to subject them to ungodly and atheistical indoctrination.
Most Christian parents send their children to the state schools. Most Christian parents will not heed the warning, nor do they really even believe there is cause for alarm. "Yes, the schools are bad, but not OUR local school..." "Yeah, well, *I* went to public school and *I* turned out okay..." Not really, since such persons turn out to be the kind who willingly send their children to the priests of Moloch and Baal for their "education."
The proof is in the pudding. The entire concept and edifice of public education was created by and is currently managed and controlled by people who willingly, publicly, unashamedly and vociferously declare that the public school system is a WEAPON DESIGNED TO DESTROY CHRISTIANITY. And for proof that they have been very successful all one has to do is take a look at modern society.
Those who wish to continue allowing their children to be spiritually abused by antichrists will of course do so. And those of us who will have no part in such nonsense will continue to do so. And the demographics will tell the story to our great grandkids as to which side survives.

Re: Public school and the Christian parent
The modern American public school system is controlled by Communists, "Illuminists", "Masons", etc, in other words, by antichrist humanists -
