Seriously, if you happen to decide on the Chocolate-Espresso Snowballs, let us know how you liked them. I do plan on trying out that recipe, just don't know when.

Hope your tea goes well! I'm sure it will!

maybe "dropped" is the wrong word, Mike. How about "placed" - as in "placed the tv on the floor". Bringing back any memories now? (I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is still no.)

Re: Recipes for a Ladies Tea. Help??

Found this in my 2009 Christmas with Southern Living. A cheese log with Gingersnaps? - heavenly. Going to try this one for a Christmas party.

Apricot-and-Strawberry Chevre

1/2 cup dried strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
4 oz chevre (goat cheese)
1 (3-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. finely chopped red onion
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Gingersnaps

Bring strawberries, apricots, and water to cover to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Drain and let cool completely.

Process goat cheese and next 5 ingredients in a food processor until combined. Stir in chopped fruit by hand.

Shape cheese mixture into a 12" log; cut log into 3 (4") logs. Wrap each log in plastic wrap, and chill at least 2 hours. Serve with gingersnaps. Store cheese logs in refrigerator up to 1 week. Yield 3 (4") logs.

Lol, all I remember is what you and Rin and Thunder told me the next morning. Oh yeah, and I remember wanting to die. It was a lesson I've never forgotten, lol.

I know you wouldn't have participated in this thread if Margie had not been the originator, but still, seeing Michael Phelps and Tea Party together - it just doesn't seem right!
