Modalism, The Original Orthodoxy, by Bishop Jerry Hayes. Pretty interesting, well researched, footnoted, etc.

Founding Faith by Steve Waldman

Just finished John Adams by David McCullough. Absolutely loved that book. Adams was a tremendous man imo. Probably my favorite "founding father".

Saints and Strangers, by George Willison, the story of the pilgrims and Plymouth colony. It's an old book that I bought years ago at a resale shop. I like to pull it out at thanksgiving.

A very good book. What did you think of his "wooden barrier"?

Panoramic View of the Bible by Ruby Martin and M. D. Padfield, Jr. 1964 Pent. Pub. House

It is a short survey of the Bible. Looks like the first version of Search for Truth.

I had hoped it had more doctrinal statements, but it does not.
