Re: The Power of the Cross

people may still die, but Jesus did pay the price for us to be healed.

Calvary satisfied Gods wrath toward sin and made atonement for all that would believe. Through Calvary God provided a better way a new covenant that would include all mankind. There is no reversal of the effects of the fall until all things are put under subjection to him who sits on the throne. (Rev. 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. this is the second death. 15 and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.) Yes we can receive healings and miracles, but not all that are partakers of Calvary will. However the greatest miracle of all in remission of sins and receiving the Holy Ghost.

I believe that scripture is more about spiritual healing than physical healing.

Would be odd if a price has been paid to physically heal everyone, yet everyone is not healed.

Yet, people still die.

My only purpose in posting the preaching utube was to build people's faith for healing.
Jesus healed those who He perceived had faith to be healed.
Salvation and healing are according to a person's faith.

I loved the message. Bro Harrod and his family are missionaries to Spain and are doing a wonderful work there.

I once believed that on healing. I don't know what to believe about healing now, only that I believe and know healing and miracles still happen today. I just don't know the success formula.

Thousands prayed for Kenneth Haney to be healed. Ministers were claiming miraculous healing and yet he died. Same with Kilgore. Same with Norman Pasley. Same with many other ministers who have become ill or fell to disease.

My mother was healed. I believe I was healed. My father has received healing. I know others who have received healing as well. So I know it happens. I just don't know why it doesn't always happen, except that it wasn't God's will.

And I loathe that reason. "It wasn't God's will to heal so and so." Everywhere I read in the Bible, God's will was to heal. I see no example in scripture where a person who was sick or diseased was presented to God for healing and God said, "Eh, not him."

I also don't like blaming the sick person for not having enough faith.

Re: The Power of the Cross

I agree with nd's above post.
I have been healed, my son was healed of a disease for which medical science has no cure.
I believe in the power of God to heal.
But sometimes healing does not happen.
Otherwise, some saints from the upper room would still be here.
There used to be a doctrine called the "never-die" doctrine.
But, it died out.

I agree and we accept whatever God decides.

The chastisement of our peace was upon Him - His death brought peace to us by putting a stop between the enmity of fallen man and God.

"Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones." Proverbs 3:8

Peace brings health to our bones. A spiritual healing will also bring physical healing. So, it is both done because of the cross.

Thanks for sharing the video. I also believe we can be healed of illnesses and diseases. Doesn't happen for everyone, but it does happen. We serve the Mighty God and nothing is impossible!

Amen!

There are some things we can only understand by and by and some things on the other side. God is still good.
