Don’t judge someone because... something.

Thoughts?

Re: Don’t judge someone because... something.

Love is the opposite of being judgmental, and I think we all fall short of it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.

That doesn’t answer the question.

Re: Don’t judge someone because... something.

We should always seek to judge/discern between good and evil. We should judge/discern spirits and the intents of individuals. We should also judge and discern with regards to doctrine.

But when it comes to people who love God and are sincerely wanting to please Him, should they be in error, stumbling or struggling in an area of life, we should not judge so harshly on a personal level. We should encourage them to keep growing in Christ. We should always remember that none of us are without sin and have attained absolute, glorified, perfection. Even the most holy and overcoming saint of God sinned before being saved. And so, we've all been there.
