2. War between Obama and Wall Street.

Look at this.

Larry Kudlow, MSNBC

Let me be very clear on the economics of President Obama’s State of the Union speech and his budget.

He is declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and private-equity and venture-capital funds.

That is the meaning of his anti-growth tax-hike proposals, which make absolutely no sense at all — either for this recession or from the standpoint of expanding our economy’s long-run potential to grow.

Raising the marginal tax rate on successful earners, capital, dividends, and all the private funds is a function of Obama’s left-wing social vision, and a repudiation of his economic-recovery statements. Ditto for his sweeping government-planning-and-spending program, which will wind up raising federal outlays as a share of GDP to at least 30 percent, if not more, over the next 10 years.

3. We may have entered an economic "lost decade."

"The question at this point is are we looking at a 'lost decade' for the United States economy or are we in the final throes of a recession, the last convulsive stage of an economy that is ready to shake off the imbalances and begin a recovery," Baumohl said.

"It's significantly worse than what the consensus forecasts of economists have been," Bernard Baumohl, chief economists at the Economic Outlook Group, told NPR. "No one really has a clue when it comes to how severe this recession is."

However, I have not spoken this prophetically. I speak this as a reasonable person who is aware of the time and season we live in.

We will hit bottom in June or July. Mark my word.

There may be a recovery soon afterwards, but it will be slow. Very slow.

This is going to last for years. Maybe even a decade.
Ed you have my agreement...

We shouldn't worry because our lives are not our own... we are bought with a price...

John Bevere has a book on breaking intimidation that deals with fear and intimidation... has made a difference in my thinking....
Perfectly stated

I thought his "prophecy" was too vague to be considered prophecy.

The stuff he said will happen, eventually, and every Christian already knows this.

I have to agree with EA--a lot of things are common sense.

I'm not particularly impressed with prophecies these days. There are too many that just never come to pass, and they are often so vague, it's like reading a fortune cookie--it'll fit anyone.

Now if my pastor, my husband, or some of the ministers I know and respect (including some on this forum) predict something dire--I'll sit up and take notice.

I predict: something terrible will happen in the future.

I predict that it will happen twice before 3010 A.D.

Did I mention "vague?"

Fortune Cookie Prophesies.

In my lifetime, I've known at least 3 couples personally who didn't have children and it was prophesied they would have a bouncing baby (girl/boy) within "one year."

One of my friends did have a little girl...15 years after that prophecy! It was a miracle, definitely, but he was still a false prophet IMO.

How much anointing does it take to look at someone who is bald and thin and doesn't have eyebrows, and tell them they are struggling with a cancer in their body? Or someone with dark circles under their eyes that they could have kidney trouble? (I can't remember if that's a symptom for sure--but my point is that recognizing symptoms of diseases is an easy skill to learn)
