The Mark Of The Beast will be internet-based. It makes perfect sense to me. We are already able to scan our hands to check out from grocery stores. Mark my words. The Mark of the Beast will be internet-based.

Assuming Futurism, the world will be in shambles. The mark in this context would need to be an actual mark, etching, or tattoo. I believe most technology will be down.

Imagine if the Antichrist were to be the Islamic Mahdi, who will rule from Jerusalem and crush the enemies of Islam in the last days. The Muslim prophecies state he will have the bismillah inscribed on the foreheads of his followers.

This would identify those aligned with the Antichrist immediately upon sight. And yes, those without it would be denied food, supplies, and denied right to barter.

This makes more sense than microchips and bar codes, seeing the world will be in total shambles...

Also, Islam "beheads" those who will not submit, and their view of prophecy is opposite of Christianity, with their Al Mahdi setting up the final victorious Caliphate in Jerusalem, exterminate the Jews, and crush Christianity.

In any case, the "mark", is spiritual, and indicates religious allegiance.
