Of games and beliefs

There are online games that influences the behavior of a gamer. Once I read a student who killed his classmates after being addicted to an online game. I am not saying that all online games are demonic but there are really games that influences the behavior of other gamers. I just want to ask what is your stand about this gaming online? do we have to put a restriction on it? then how?
