Thats not what Hebrews 7:5 said David.
It says to take tithes as a COMMANDMENT ACCORDING TO THE LAW.
(not as "regulated" by the law)

To whom is verse 5 referring? To whom was given the "commandment?" And, btw, it does not say "commandment according to the law."
It says "they (the Levites) have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law."
So the people tithe according to what the law says and the Levites have a commandment to take the tithes.
What did the law do with regards to tithes? It set an amount or rate, persons affected and frequency, correct?
