Re: Impeachment Hearing

Ari Fleischer - “As for Trump’s tweet, to call it witness intimidation is laughable. People can say whatever they want about Trump and he can’t say what he thinks? The witness has every right to speak her mind and he can speak his. If witnesses are so intimidated, why do they keep showing up?”

Well . . .

Some people are just more easily intimidated than others.

Ya know?

Right. She was in the hearing and wouldn’t have known about the tweet if Schiff hadn’t stopped everything to read it. He is such a drama queen.

Re: Impeachment Hearing

So, after today - Yovanovitch brought nothing damaging to the President.

Secondly, I agree with Ken Starr - Adam Schiff has brought so much hostility to the hearing that this will go no where as the Senate is watching.

Third, Chris Stewart (R) Do you have any information that the president accepted any Bribes? No.

Do you have any information that the President of the United States was involved in any criminal acts? No.

One last point- the DOW just closed at an all time high.

No crisis in sight.

Re: Impeachment Hearing

Dems were all focused on her feelings ... how did Trump's recalling her post make her feel? How did she feel about the tweets and gossip made about her?

Meanwhile, GOP were asking why are you even here?

I agree with either Nunes or counsel, who said she shouldn't be at that hearing but rather appearing before some State Dept HR board.

Also, Jim Jordan: "...our indulgence wore out with you a long time ago, Mr. Chairman..."

Re: Impeachment Hearing

BTW ... Rep Stefanik was great with her questions. There's a reason Schiff continually tries to interrupt and silence her.

Re: Impeachment Hearing

Honestly, we wouldn't have had Yovanovitch in the hearing today if Trump would have just let her term expire and not kept her as Ambassador. Her term was expiring this year. He could have just opted to wait and appoint someone else.

But I understand the timing. She was recalled the day the new Ukrainian President was sworn in. It makes sense to wipe the slate clean and start with a new Ambassador.

There certainly wasn't anything criminal or shady or wrong that Trump did. After all, Obama fired all Bush-appointed Ambassadors and appointed his donors and friends.

I fail to see why Adam Schiff wanted to waste everyone's time today with testimony from a disgruntled employee who had no relevant testimony to the actual accusations and inquiry against the POTUS. Unless he's just a very sad and angry little man who hates everyone and wants everyone to be miserable like him.

Several Dems asked how she was feeling and how it had impacted her family.

Funny, not one of them cared about Brett Kavanaugh’s family or how all the lies had hurt him personally.
Hypocrites.

Don Jr and his family.
Gen Flynn and family.
Basically anyone supporting Trump or who is in his administration.

There was a recent Judge who was bashed in his confirmation hearing...don't remember the name but I remember reading that it was unprecedented and ugly.
