I'm only trying to help draw the necessary distinction between what is called "hemp" verses what is called "cannabis". Many might think this is inconsequential. However, the fact that most in Congress didn't know the difference sneakily allowed the Prohibitive Marihuana Tax Law ban hemp production in 1937, crippling the hemp industry. Of course, the special interests that backed this bill are all connected to the plastics industry, and even the budding pharmaceutical industry. An in depth study of the history of cannabis prohibition will reveal that a very powerful agenda was afoot to not only prohibit ingesting marijuana, but to destroy the hemp industry. Many politicians discovered after the fact that they voted to crush the hemp industry under the guise of prohibiting marijuana.
So, not knowing the difference between hemp and marijuana is one of the reasons why our modern world is filled with so many petroleum based products & fuel and synthetic pharmaceuticals.
The REAL Reason Cannabis Was Prohibited

A - you put out so much as "fact" that is just untrue or just your opinion.
There is no proof that the "plastics industry" conspired to crush hemp production.
Also, there is no proof that the pharma industry had any hand in it either.
As a matter of fact the AMA opposed the action.
Here is a link to wikipedia which actually gives a fairly accurate view of the events.
I say fairly accurate, because usually the marijuana proponents usually bogus up anything that would put out the truth on it.

Shane is a former AFF member who was a Oneness Pentecostal preacher of some sort (was raised in it) who has had some legal problems in the past which led to him spending some time in "the big house" not too long ago.
