Being idle when we are alone? Does that mean that when we are alone we usually have nothing to do? Please explain?

Why is your nick return man?

I agree with idleness resulting in temptation. I don't agree with it as an excuse to sin. Being complacent in our labors for the Lord will obviously result in disaster. I don't know what that has to do with your original post though. Great OP!

Re: Holiness: "It's ALL ABOUT What's In Your Clos

My whole point in the beginning is that secrecy gives opportunity for crime (sin).
No one adds hours to their time card because it is done openly. Hours are added because they “believe” no one knows how many hours they work. Incorrect change being given back to you and not returned to the cashier, is done through the idea that no one knows. That is when Christianity should really be working, when no one sees and no one knows. Why wait for conviction to kick in? That indicates that the person had already decided to go through with the crime. To totally understand that Jesus hears everything, and personally sees everything we do. We do everything before Him, whether in the open or in secrecy.

I made a comment to the cell group close to a year ago. I said, "People need to do things because they know it's the right thing to do, not wait for a conviction to do it." Though, not exactly what your thread is about.

Re: Holiness: "It's ALL ABOUT What's In Your Clos

This guy does a perfect explanation of why who you are in the dark is really who you are. He doesn't use God as the reason (it's a secular viewpoint). He uses the sub conscience as the one viewing our life, especially when we are in private. It is so important that we understand who is watching us, who looks into our mind, and sees every thought. No matter what anyone says about you, Jesus knows who you are, and what you are really up to.
