No, I haven't tried the prunes. I was pretty sure I didn't need a laxative, so I used the dates. Can you imagine handing out laxatives at a party?! LOL!
The dates are so awesome!!!! And really, it's the perfect salty and sweet that satisfies a person's taste buds.

A prune? I have heard of dates and figs, but not prunes. On the Food Network, you probably saw it on FB.

Ok, I made the devils on horseback. I had bought 2 boxes of dates and thought that that would be plenty. WRONG!! They were gone almost instantly! I limited myself to only one so that everyone could get a chance to try them. But that took a whole lot of will-power, which I usually have none of! Next time I'm making a WHOLE lot more!
And I made the chicken salad with the pineapple. But I had some left-over grapes so I added those too. And some celery just because I think celery helps almost everything. It was delicious!! And a HUGE HIT at the Ladies Tea. At the end of the night I went to pick up the left overs, but there were none. WOW!
Thanks again for all your help, PO. Together, we were a hit. Sorry you didn't get to come and enjoy it with us. If I can figure out how to do it here on AFF, I'll post some pics of our table decorations so you can see them.
