If Jesus preached Sunday

If Jesus preached at your church on Sun do you think he'd preach a sermon warning of impending doom?

Or would he preach the Love of Christ?

He'd preach whatever the Holy Ghost led Him to preach, and it most likely would depend on the need in the congregation.

Who knows? He might touch a bit on it all.

We're in the process of finding a new pastor...

He would definitely get my vote.

I don't think he would preach either of the subjects you suggest. (if you don't mind me varying from your choices)

I think he would preach on how we are all missing the whole point and he would straighten us out on what this Christianity thing was supposed to be about.

Also... I don't think he would "preach" the way preachers preach today.

I think he would sit on the edge of the platform and talk to us.

And it won't do any good to ask me what he would tell us because I am one of the "we" and I wish Jesus would sit me down and let me know exactly what is supposed to be important and what is not.

I would LOVE to be straightened out. I would LOVE to have it told to me as it is. I would LOVE to quit guessing with all of the limited knowledge I have and finally KNOW.

My answer is still the same.

Just as any anointed Apostolic man of God who's in touch with the Holy Ghost, so would the Lord minister to the needs of the congregation He addressed.

If they needed fire and brimstone, He'd give it. If they needed loving correction, He'd do that. If they needed to hear Acts 2:38, He'd preach that. If they needed it all, He'd give it all.

I think he would tell the sinners to quit sinning and the saints to quit judging then the would tell them all they all need a fresh dose of the Holy Ghost!

(that rhymes) good for me!

I believe he would start out with His love for us.

Then, he might spend a little time explaining that we've really complicated living for Him by fussing about all these insignificant things.

Wrapping up with we need to get our minds on him and save the lost because His coming will be soon.

The truth is, He would preach on the Kingdom of God... they didn't comprehend it in His time on earth and most of us don't really get it either.

It is ALL about the Kingdom... take a look at how He taught the disciples and us to pray!

....thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done....

Ouch. You mean it's not all about me?

I would guess he wouldn't asked for a seed offering..............
