Where does it say in Scripture that a pastor is the "gatekeeper" to my soul? I find that concept a bit disturbing. I have learned to love and value the ministry that God has put in my life. I have been blessed to have been under some wonderful men who had a real walk with God and were in tune with the Spirit. They effectively ministered to me and helped me in my walk with God. But ultimately, I am responsible for my own salvation. I suspect there will be a lot of blame and finger-pointing on Judgment Day which will hold no water with the Supreme Judge.

Im not sure I know anyone that feels like the Pastor is the mediator between God and Man.

It has been my experience that these types of question don't just pop into the minds of teenagers... If there was no fear of rebuke or questioning of "where did this question come from, and who have you been talking to or hearing from" these questions would never be asked.

not starting a fight but that aint setting well.
