His parents pastored the Pentecostal Church of Dover, Delaware. They resigned in the 90's, turning the church over to Anthony. His mother is singer, songwriter, preacher, Janet Trout.
His wife is recording artist Tammy Trout...

The first time I met Anthony Trout was in Junior Youth Camp, Berne NY, in 1969. The last time I saw him was probably 1971 or so. I can't say that I've kept up on his whereabouts and I doubt he would even remember me today. One thing I'll never forget though was his mother, Sis Trout teaching us kids at camp about Hell. Her visual aids included a charcoal grill and paper cut outs of sinful kids who wore mini skirts, drank beer and smoked. I don't think I need to say more but she sure made an impact to us kids that day.
