Where do you get your information concerning this issue? How do you compile your information on what is going on over there? How is the Eastern Orthodox church doing over in the Ukraine? How's the Russian Pentecostal Church doing over in eastern Ukraine? What was Joe Biden's involvement with the Ukraine in 2014? Finally, should our government get involved in an escalating war with Russia? I'd be interested to know your answers, and views on this.

Re: So it begins
Ukraine on Fire: The Real Story - Igor Lopatonok Oliver Stone 2016
This was a documentary from 2016. Gives you the entire history of the issues of Western Ukraine, Eastern Ukraine, Crimea, Russia, NATO and the United States. It also puts all the Neo Nazi factions in perspective, going all the way back to Western Ukraine alliance with Nazi Germany. Western Ukraine's part in the Holocaust against the Jews and Polish people during WWII. We are also given insight to the Obama administration's involvement, and then Vice President Joe Biden's personal touch concerning the coup against the democratic elected government in Ukraine in 2014. The documentary ends with letting everyone know that in January, 2015, the Bulletin set the Doomsday Clock at three minutes to midnight. Because of the events started by governing world powers over in Ukraine. Having Hillary Clinton lose to the Donald only delayed everything that is currently happening. Hillary would of got the ball rolling with inflation, gas prices (remember how high prices were getting prior to Trump?) We would of been paying $10 a gallon by now, but I guess we can wait until the end of summer 2022. You would think that after the scamdemic we would of wised up, but alas wising up isn't part of our skill set. I honestly don't know how this is all going to land, but if it goes sideways, it will get a tad messy. We as a nation have a president who has one foot in the grave, and another on a banana peel. Plus he is demented. The Vice President is unfit to lead a nursery school, let alone a country at war with a nuclear super power. So, don't look to anyone in Washington D.C. to help you, they are helping themselves. They have us on the pay no mind list. All we can do as the disinformation is shed throughout the media. Is to pray for the Lord Jesus Christ to grant us peace, and protection. He is the ark of our salvation.
If anyone searches for the documentary Ukraine on Fire: The Real Story - Igor Lopatonok Oliver Stone 2016. Be warned that Victoria Nuland
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States, drops some profanity in her leaked conversation to the former ambassador to Ukraine (now he is ambassador to Greece) Geoffrey Ross Pyatt. Letting everyone know that they set these events which we are leaving out today, a while back.

It’s was very interesting to me that Stone forgot to show, or even mention, the police shooting unarmed civilians during the Maiden protests.
Glory to Ukraine. B)
In the first four minutes it was clear that this documentary is biased. It mentions invasions of Ukraine and of the price paid by Ukrainians, and the highest price paid in lives in the Holodomor in 1932-33 in which millions died at the hands of the Soviets under Stalin. Too large an omission to be accidental.
Read other negative reviews to hear what else is biased and omitted.
Also the name of this film is trying to ride on the success of Winter on Fire by being so similar it would almost be mistaken for it. C) I am married to a Ukrainian and spend a lot of time in Eastern Ukraine less than 2 hours from the Russian border. The movie brings up a lot of interesting information I didn't know however it's hugely slanted towards the Soviet, oops I mean former Soviet government expressed views. Personally I would prefer to learn Ukrainian but I have been learning Russian. I'm sorry Vladimir just because people speak Russian doesn't mean they are Russian. People in many countries speak English but that doesn't mean they're ethnically English. From my experiences in Ukraine I don't know anyone who is pro-Russian. And even using such powerful voices as Oliver Stone, there's going to be a lot of problems for Russia in taking over countries like Ukraine or Georgia just because they speak Russian.
It's clear to me that a lot of research went into this film, unfortunately it wasn't unbiased and was given to all of Oliver Stone and used without any independent analysis or judgment. A good example is the history of Ukraine. From what I've learned from people there there are two big tragedies in the collective consciousness, World War II and Stalin's starving millions of Ukrainians. However the Soviet starvation isn't even mentioned in the film.
Maybe Oliver Stone had good intentions but the film is evidence of continued Soviet style misinformation which only creates confusion. D) This film is entirely propagandist. He interviews Putin, Yanukovich, and the head of police who oversaw police brutality attacking peaceful student protesters. There are no interviews with any civilians who were actually at these protests and all protesters are lumped into "Neo-Nazi supporters and some random civilians who fell prey to their misleading propaganda." I kept waiting for some other side to be presented for fairness but all I got were interviewers with a man who changed rules to give him more power and used taxpayer money for golden toilets and loaves of bread (the former president was chased from the country and his former mansion estate was turned into the Museum of Corruption). It belittles the entire revolution against corruption into conspiracy theories that belittles any autonomy of the people of the country and aggrandizes the benevolence of Putin. E) First thing to note before watching this "documentary" is that the filmmaker is from Eastern Ukraine, which explains his pro-Russian ideology. The interviews conducted in the film are of Putin and Yanukovich; no other leaders or Presidents have been interviewed or asked any questions on their opinion or thoughts. As you watch the film, you will notice that every account of events is very one-sided and fails to portray all the facts, conveniently leaving out parts of the story that are crucial to the understanding of the unfolding of Ukraine's history. The constant naming of Ukrainians as Nazis along with side-by-side images of Ukrainian political leaders with Nazi leaders and their demonstrations is a propaganda tool that is used throughout the film to paint nationalistic Ukrainians as terrorists and anti-Semitists. This film is meant to recount Ukraine's history but leaves out every positive fact and victory as well as "forgetting" about the injustices committed against the Ukrainian people such as Holodomor, a mass starvation effort carried out by Stalin and the USSR during which millions of Ukrainians died. Overall, this is an offensive and extremely biased account of Ukraine and should only be watched to get a better understanding of the tools Russia and pro-Russians use in their propaganda. F) I really would like 2 hours back. I knew people on Maidan. I know people in the Ukranian military. To frame this the way Stone did, it's propaganda, not a documentary. Pure waste of time. G) Stone implies that the only reason the Ukrainians fought the Communists was because they loved Nazis. Did he forget that the Communists attempted to starve the country? Open a history book. There is another side of the coin Phd. EB.

I'll make this simple.
Answer me this, what is NATO? What was the agreement with Russia concerning NATO? Who is NATO beholding to? Also what was the problem with the Bay of Pigs? Why did President Kennedy and the United States government have a problem with missiles in Cuba? How far is Cuba from Washington D.C.? Why did Hunter Biden have a job in the Western Ukraine?
Let's have this discussion
