Please pray for our daughter.

Please pray for our daughter. She is pregnant with her first child ( our first grandchild). She has suddenly developed pre-eclampsia and the Dr. has said the baby must be delivered now. Please pray for a safe delivery for both Mom & baby. May God bless you all.

Re: Please pray for our daughter.

I am seeing this a few days after it was posted. I hope all turned out well and I am praying for all involved.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Please pray for our daughter.

Thank you to all who have prayed over this situation. We have a healthy Mama but our grand-darling could use your continued prayers. The baby was born in respiratory distress and is having liver issues. Also please keep Mama & Daddy in your prayers. This has been very trying for them as first time parents. Again, thank you all and may God bless each one of you.

PS: Will try to update as we know more.
