I have a friend that told me he believes that God the Father and God the Son were separate but the Holy Ghost was a spirit....Is that called Dual God belief? What would you say to answer this?

Not sure what it should be called. But you could start by showing that "God the Son" isn't a Biblical concept. You could also show how the spirit of God the Father is the Holy Spirit.
