It did disolve. LM said it was because he was the only one in the section quailifed to be the presbyter because he was the only other pastor in the section who is ordained. He didn't want to be the presbyter.

Could it be that the local UPC did not like the evangelist, but the now independent always has? In this scenario, it's not two sided.
