No serious Bible teachers believe anyone is in the lake of fire, Gehenna.
Even immortal soul believers would say the wicked dead are in Hades not Gehenna.

Hell/Lake of fire is way to serious a subject to make a mistake about it's existence. I personally live on the side of caution and live accordingly.

Have you ever noticed the CONTEXT of that verse? Like reading the verses that follow?

There are far more Biblical verses to prove soul sleep than "immortal soul" heresy.

You didn't ask me but I don't believe anyone is in the Lake of Fire at this very moment because that judgment has not occurred yet.

I do believe there are people in hell right now-- a place of fire and torment for the wicked.
