Its not talking about this current age. In Matthew 24 Jesus said to pray that your flight be in the winter or on the Sabbath, do you pray your flight isn't on the Sabbath? or in the winter?

Every time Jesus or apostles spoke of the end of the world(age) they referred to the time they lived in. At the end of that age there would be a separation from the tares and the wheat. This happened during the "this world" that Jesus said it would.

Mat_13:40.. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Jesus came at the end of the world to sacrifice himself:

Heb_9:26.. For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Paul said the end of the world was coming upon them:

1Co_10:11.. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The general theme of Matt 24 is the end of the age that would come upon them. He was warning them what they would see and experience.

We are not the "you" in Matt 24, it was those he spoke to.

Mat 24:4.. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:9.. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Who was the you in this text? The disciples he spoke to.

Mat 24:15.. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand..

"when ye therefore shall see" When he told them they would see it then they count on it they would see it.

Mat 24:33.. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors...
Mat 24:34.. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled...

"when ye shall see all these things" not they shall see, but you shall see.
This doesn't mean that.

This doesn't mean that.
So you said this all took place in the old covenant? So between Matthew 24 and the day of Pentecost? Because even 70 A.D. was not in the Old covenant by any means. Prophecy always has different time periods in it. One part can be near future, while two lines later could be for 1,000 years down the road. Some parts of that was fulfilled but what we are talking about, and what he was referencing has yet to happen.

If the book of Hebrews says the end of the world has come that was one of the last books written in the NT. So that blows that theory out the water. I do believe He was talking to the Jews. But He also was clearly talking to the Apostles who would become the leaders of His church what was going to.come at the end, of the church age that was coming around the corner. In those things dealing with the Apostles the church leaders, all deal with us the church. Because in Him there is neither Jew nor Greek.

The beginning of the chapter took place what came in before verse 37/may of come to pass that which came after to verse 51 is what Elder Howard is warning of just as the parable at the end talks about.

This doesn't mean that.
But if you want to refute this farther please start a new thread on this. I'm sure many more people would love to have this conversation with you. Have a good night, and God Bless.

You're right that Hebrew was written for the Jews. The end of the world was the end of their age as God's covenant people.

Why does it say she came at the end of the world?

Paul taught the end of the world was coming upon him and those he wrote to.

...Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Corinthians 10:11 KJV

Was he lying?

I'm not saying it was not the end of the world, but that is still the end of the world that never ceased to be. Then was the end of the world and so is now. You have no proof where we went past that! Now if you want to continue this conversation start anew thread please.
