WW3 before end of 2020?

Brexit - The UK voted to leave the EU, but it has been postponed to the end of 2020.

If the UK leaves the EU, the EU will collapse, since the UK pretty much floats the bills for the EU.

Question - what would take everybody's minds off the certain collapse of the EU due to Brexit? What would make Brexit a purely "academic issue" that suddenly had no real relevance?

Sept 10, 2001, the Pentagon announced they "misplaced" some 2-3 trillion dollars. TRILLIONS of dollars fell down the back of the couch. Who remembers that? Oh, that's right, nobody does, because the next day the Global War on Terror began with the Sept 11 attacks.

The UK leaving the EU is bigger that Renfield losing 2-3 trillion dollars of taxpayer money. Therefore, it makes sense that the "distraction event" will be bigger than the previous one.

And the solution? If you think they will have to sit down in smoke filled five star hotel rooms and sweat out some kind of world saving solution, you're not up to speed. The solutions are waiting in the wing, just waiting for the right moment. Just like the PATRIOT ACT. (Anybody remember the 1995 OMNIBUS Crime act that was supposed to be passed in the wake of the Murrah building demolition in OKC? Well, it got put off until after 9/11 and renamed with a more "patriotic" flavour.) The solutions will probably include a block chain currency tied to an implantable chip or scannable bar code placed in or on your person for biometric security reasons.

I could see that happening. But only if we get THAT far without WW3. Let us consider that Israel and Iran shooting missiles at each other could bring us there quickly.

I live on a river, across the river is a wild life preserve. We have hogs and turkeys and cranes that roam our neighborhood, along with deer and other edible animals.

so I don't need petrol because I have guns and ammo and the river provides water and fish.

The wild life preserve provides firewood and food.

Also, my dog is really a hunting dog, currently posing as a lap dog.

maybe I can trade meat and fish for ammo if I run out.

There are conversion systems for turning a well over to solar or wind power. There are also conversion systems for converting to manual pumps. There are also "bullet buckets" where you take a pvc pipe, place a one way valve on the bottom end, attach ropes to it and set up a pulley over the well casing, and you can lower the pipe into the well, it fills with water, and you can draw water out. Of course, you have to pull the existing pump out first, so this would be a last ditch effort. (I assume you have a submersible? If you have a surface pump it would be easier.)

A septic system can be made with a couple 55 gallon drums (think burn barrels that haven't been used as such yet) and some pvc pipe. You need pipe from the toilet running to the first barrel, a connecting pipe to the second, and then a field line from the second (with holes in the bottom side of the pipe, running about 100 ft if possible out away from the house and away from any water source or garden plot). The barrels and pipe of course have to be buried. And no, it wouldn't be "up to code" lol.

I have no idea what a single goat would be good for unless you like goat milk? yuck.

Instead of chickens, get ducks. The eggs are a bit bigger and better tasting, the ducks are usually better temperament wise, and roasted duck tastes better than chicken.

Squash is a super food, imo. Probably among the most bang for the buck when it comes to veggies in the garden. I hear sweet potatoes are high nutrient and easy to grow as well. Peas and beans are a pain. Again, just my opinion.

To survive disaster most people need to be networked with their neighbours. Everyone pull together and help each other out, etc.

Forget Mad Max, that's hollywood. Real collapse looks like Argentina, Venezuela, or Yugoslavia, Weimar Germany, or 1930s America.

Stock up on garlic and vitamin c unless you can get loads of penicillin.

I think your premise that the UK leaving the EU will cause it's collapse is wrong. if anything the problems it is having untangling itself from the EU should discourage any other countries from leaving.

lThe UK and Germany "officially" contribute nearly the same. With some neat wiggling of statistics, we can say Germany pays a bit more than the UK.

So then Germany and co. will have to take up the slack. Think they can afford it? HAHAHAHA!!!!

Are we on the verge of another war in the middle east? with the US and Israel bombing Syria, and Saudi Arabia worried about Iran's nuclear escalation, tensions are certainly ratcheting up.

Former Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Leon Panetta told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo that the implications of Iran resuming its enrichment program of uranium may draw the U.S. into a dramatic conflict in the Middle East.

“The most dangerous path [Iran] can take is to go back to enrichment and the potential of developing a nuclear weapon,” Panetta said during an interview broadcast Thursday on “Mornings with Maria.”

If Iran decides to proceed with its enrichment program and developing a nuclear weapon, Panetta warns such action would be viewed as a direct threat to the existence of Israel. Therefore, the U.S. will be forced to act to protect its number one ally in the region.

“If that happens, we could have a dramatic escalation of conflict in the Middle East to the point that it would really raise concerns about whether or not we could contain that conflict or whether we’re on the precipice of a world war,” Panetta said.
