PRAISE YAH!

Are Apostolics sinning by saying HALLELUJAH in praising God because they dont speak in fluent Hebrew?
Mike, why aren't you pronouncing λούια?

Mike, show me where Jesus and Paul made the issues that you are making here?

Where do we have this admonition in the New Testament?

Where did Jesus ever give out this warning? Where did any Apostle make any statement close to this??

An attack on a Hebrew word?

Seriously?

Where did any of the apostles or Jesus tell anyone to be CAREFUL concerning this topic?

Re: Daniel's 70th week

My point looks like it was made.
The old prohibition against using the so called divine name?
While Rabbis use Hashem. The Yahwists and Sacred Namers blow it all off to spout it at every chance. Mike acts like other Sacred Namers to push the blasphemer card. Against those who would place the Hebrew word on the pay no mind list. God doesn’t care what language you use to worship Him. It’s your birth language it was what you were taught. You are Israeli taught Hebrew you call Him Yeshus, or Greek and call Him Iesous. Or Turkish and call Him Isa. That’s how you were taught. Yet, if you start calling Him a name because you want to feel more Hebrewish. Then you are really missing the whole point. You want to worship Him in another language? Then get prayed through and speak in other tongues as the Spirit of Christ gives the ability. Jesus is the Father. Jesus is God. Jesus is the ONLY saving Name.

Ehud

Is 'YAH' a proper name or is it just another way of saying 'God' or 'Lord'? I, too, believe Jesus is God, but I've never once thought to refer to Jesus by any other name.
In the Old Testament God has a name.

Psalms 68:4

4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

YAH is said to be the name of God.

Many Hebrew names contain YAH.

It is the same as IAH or JAH.

JeremIAH
ZecharIAH
HezekIAH
ZephanIAH
IsaIAH

There are many more but you get the point.

In Revelation 19:1-6 we see the word Alleluia 4 times.

The Strongs and Youngs Concordances that I own agree that this means:

PRAISE YAH.

Jesus is YAH manifest in the flesh.

What?

In thousands of posts here I have not even ONCE tried to push anyone to use "YAH". Dom cant produce even one quote where I have. I myself use it with pleasure.

Whenever Dom sees it he attacks it. Several times, without telling him HE must use this sacred name I have cautioned him about it because I am concerned for his soul.

It is HE who cannot tolerate this name and who will fight about it at the drop of a hat.

You are making a commandment here that Christ never made. In your mind it's wrong for me as an American to call Jesus by his Hebrew name.

So by logic do you feel it's wrong for a Jew to call Yeshua "Jesus"?

I came up in an International Church. There were Americans, Indians, British, Chinese, Japanese, French, Jews, ect. People would worship Christ interchanging names. It was not considered sinful.

Do I use YAH at times to feel more Hebrew? Not that I am aware of. Why do you and others go to the Greek or even the Hebrew to prove points you are making?

Does it make you feel more Greek or Hebrew? Why do you do it? Why is it ok to try to prove the most minor points by going to the Greek or Hebrew but YET forbid even a positive MENTION of the name God has used in both Testaments?

Biblehub:

“Hallelujah!
Ἁλληλουϊά (Hallēlouia)
Hebrew Word
Strong's Greek 239: Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. Of Hebrew origin; praise ye Jah!, an adoring exclamation.
