Are We A Representative Sample...?
...Of the Apostolic movement? Specifically here at AFF?
And if so, to what degree? Can we make educated guesses or assessments of the movement by what transpires here?
Or is the sample too small? Too biased or hard to differentiate?
Why or why not?
And, please don't get personal about anyone except yourself, especially if you're going to offer a critique or negative assessment.

Re: Are We A Representative Sample...?
To determine your answer you would have to define the norm, poll the forum to see how individuals conform to the norm and then analyze the data from the polls.
you would have to answer the following questions?
- are the largest Apostolic group(s) proportionately represented on this forum?
- is commonly accepted mainstream "orthodox" apostolic doctrine proportionately represented on this forum?
- how many on this forum have some belief that deviates from mainstream?

Never a doubt of that from you. I think we are one of the churches spisoring your mission. Seems I have seen you there.
Ill not post it here, cause I may be seen as quite the opposite here.

I think the sample size is too small.

No. Most apostolics have no interest in coming here, and aren't even searching for any "apostolic discussion forums" to participate in. I've heard most of them that are interacting online have been absorbed by the Faceborg. All other "apostolic" or "oneness pentecostal" discussion forums have either sailed through the Bermuda Triangle never to be heard from again, or else their flotsam and jetsam from years ago is all that's left to be found.
Every now and then you might find one on a "Christian" forum, or on yahoo answers or quora, almost always involved in apologetics against trinitarianism or cessatonism or contra anti-baptism.
We're the last in line, clinging bitterly to our Bibles and vbulletin software. Move not the ancient landmark, and all.

Sounds about right. Years ago I had a forum that I advertised as a Oneness Forum. Granted it was a small forum but seems like it had10 or 20 regulars posting for a while. I think of them counting me there were maybe 3 or four Oneness. The rest Trins, Arians or Unitarians.
I am thankful for AFF. I have probably only been in maybe 10 Apostolic Churches or so. I have read various Apostolic writings. It is actually HERE that I have gotten perhaps a more wider representation of them.
This forum is a bit easier for me to present and discuss issues.

Yep entertainment like social media and online "tv" I think has become mainstream amongst apostolics. Though I can't say for sure so someone correct me if I am wrong.

At least we have depth of discussion and some great teachers here without having to see pictures every meal and comments about all the mundane moments in people's life.
