If you think it impossible that they would say it was pointed at them to cover their tails, I have to disagree...
No I am not thinking that.
All I said was that a pointed gun is a reason to act.
I would do the same thing.

What really happened there only the cops know, I was not there....

It is definitely possible that a gun was in the guy's hand when he opened the door, but I doubt he was actually pointing the gun at the officers.

While it's not impossible to do, it's kind of an awkward thing to attempt when I am fully awake.

Imagine how awkward it would be to do that at 2:00 am in the morning.

As usual, with Flordia law enforcement cases that see the light of day of media coverage, I smell a rat.

Victimhood empathy. Sad thing. Everyone feels like they have been victimized by someone or something, so they empathically side with other "victims" such as Trayvon or this guy.

It's sad and dumb that the police and the "non-black guy" are always the real villains, while the "victims" are actually innocent or misunderstood.

Some of the LEO's in Florida have issues and simply need to be re-trained or they need to make another career choice.

This incident, is an example why I say what I say. This whole tragedy could have been avoided.

Do you really want to blame the "victim" in this case-- go ahead.

You don't know that.

Being a police officer is a difficult job at times.
I have been pulled over once for speeding and two officers
walked up to my car with their hands on their guns ready to act if required.
I was upset about that, but just a couple of days before one of their
buddies was shot pulling somebody over for speeding.
Can you blame them for being at the ball?
These guys have wives and children at home.
They are bread winners for their families.
Yes, there are crooked cops, we know that.
But in this case I can see why it happened.

We live in a rotten world and as long as people
keep rejecting Christ nothing will change.
Hopefully He returns soon.

Well.... if the door was open why did he point the gun.
He could have seen there were cops and not some kind of robber at the front steps.
