Bro. Benincasa, Do you drink the Kombucha at Whole Foods? One of the Whole Foods locations in Austin brews their own. I've been brewing my own. Just put up 14 bottles today. Very interesting to watch the Scoby grow from almost nothing. I use the Kombucha in my smoothies or a pick up in the afternoon. LOVE IT!

People in our church family make their own Kombucha.

I will be praying for him. My father in law is 91 years old and he isn't doing well at all. My wife leaves at 5:30 Tuesday morning. His name is Lt. Col Sherman Pratt, and he started really go down hill after the doctors started to make his diet. My wife and I were just discussing this, and with all the knowledge we have on healthy diets, my mother in law didn't want to listen. She may not be a Cowboy, just a little Greek woman, but just like a Texas Cowboy, she doesn't want to hear information which runs outside the realm of what the doctors prescribe. You start to get sick, and then take the diet straight from the doctor. Hospital food is 5 steps below prison food. My father in law succumbed under the diet of Western Medicine.
Please pray for my wife, her brother, her mother, and her father.
I hope in Jesus name that Lt Col. Sherman Pratt can be able to see his daughter, and his grandchildren before he passes.

I certainly will be praying!!! And thank you for praying for my husband. I don't really know what is going on, but he looks so much different than he did a year ago. One day he woke up an old man. I don't know what that is all about.

One thing from the article I was not aware of on the nitrate-free is the celery salt aspect causing the bacon to have much more nitrates. That was informative and interesting. I will have to check the organic brand I use to see if that is what they do as well. |
Target sells a whole line of organic meats. They are more expensive though and a shorter shelf life
