I guess given her age, Sharon Roam is probably not much of an influence anymore or has been in a while. Regarding their continued belief in the new birth, I'm assuming it was kept on the low as far as still aligning with traditional oneness.

What Phil Goldsberry or Gateway did is really no one's business but theirs. I know Phil is a God-fearing man and he did what he felt like God spoke to him to do.
News Flash: Not everyone at Gateway is lost. I don't agree with Robert Morris's view of the godhead, but that doesn't mean he's not a Believer. He is a good man who believes in the power of God.
No one has a monopoly on TRUTH. We can all learn. Maybe instead of criticizing these mega church pastors, you should pray for them.

Wow, I don't even know who these people are. I wouldn't know Phil Goldsberry, or Robert Morris if they landed on top of me in the middle of I-95. Who cares what they believe, and guess what?!? THEY DON'T CARE what WE believe about them. They probably and happily don't even know this forum exists. All is well, Jesus is still on the throne! When princesses sing blue birds fly to them. Unicorns come in different colors, and Yakub has a monopoly on TRUTH. He just hasn't told you about it..yet.

However, Phil is one of our very best friends, has been for 40 years. I just don’t like to see him trashed on a public forum where people don’t know what they’re talking about.

And yes, all is well in the home front. 😁

I apologize if you believe Phil was being trashed. However, I stand by my comment that CLC sold out by merging with a trinitarian church which believes the sinner's prayer is good enough to be saved.

If you believe that's trashing, oh well.

And Robert Morris may be a good at branding and acquiring churches to build his Gateway empire, but the dude is lost as lost can be.

I hear the frapps from the church's cafe are really good though.
