Today the trip to the hospital was enjoyable for a few reasons.
1- It was bed 7 not ICU
2- Her color is good and she is complaining she is bored......
I suspect Wednesday- 2 more days- and they will allow her to come home.
Bro Scott, she will not be well enough to travel for that DQ next week, I fear.
WE shall see.

She was tired, but still making improvements today. She did get up and walk some in the hall. She is asking for sugarless gum, and she sadly said that she does not think that DQ trip is gonna be an option.

Tonight, we walked the hall together. This was a huge achievement. The Dr said they have to see if there is a suitable antibotic to give her at home, or she will need to remain in the hospital to ensure the course is completed. She looks so remarkably well, I am quite amazed indeed. Her room is semi-private and the nurses are exceptional.
