Probably your first thought should have been that you immediately went negative. It is a huge problem in the church today, IMO. “...However, when the Son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth”?

On the contrary dear sister/brother. I’m not going negative with my thoughts, I was referring to Paul was in the will of God while awaiting to appeal to Caesar and then become a martyr. They didn’t storm the house he was in because they (disciples/followers) knew it was the will of God. Paul told them in his letters, Paul wasnt beat down, he wasn’t discouraged or he wasnt as I read in one writing depressed concerning the fact that his time was limited. All these threads on Coronavirus or whatever there calling it now, God is in control and the church should not worry. It doesn’t matter if the virus is produced in a lab in china or here, you shouldnt trust in men the church trusts in God. We should not fear or be afraid, because God is in control.

Question for you?

When Jesus returns, is he still considered the “son of man” or is he God?

Re: Perspectives on COVID 19

I don't believe God caused CV19 or that it is a judgement on the world.

God does use our trials and struggles to perfect us and bring us closer to Him.

I have listened to several Pastors during this time of isolation and there is a common message. In the life of a child of God, there are no sacred spaces, no separation between the secular and holy.
Every aspect of our lives must be holy. We are the Church, we need to be able to maintain a walk with God, pray and fast and hear from God whether or not we are able to meet in a building.
This is a time when people are having to face who they really are. We can't be one way when we enter a building 3 times a week and then someone else on at home, on the job, or in the store.

We are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves, and are instructed to live our lives in community with each other. We are instructed to love each other with a pure heart fervently.
This is up close and personal. Anyone who does not long to be reunited in fellowship with their Church family, is not right with God.

I believe we will come through this stronger than we were before because there are strong lessons to be learned if we will but learn them.
