Stoneking-Landmark? Together Again?
I just saw that Lee Stoneking is speaking at Landmark again. So is he back in the good graces of the Stockton crowd? I've always respected and admired KH and I was in the building the night LS first appeared in Stockton, and from that time until now, I will never understand KH's endorsement and support of LS.

I only had to hear him once when I was in Stockton, I skipped every service he was at after that.

And all these years I have felt guilty for a bad attitude for ..... nothing? It's good to know that I'm not alone with my inner thoughts.

You know you are not alone, my friend.
LS has always been a turnoff for me, just couldn't ever embrace his ministry. No arrogance or any attitude about it, just didn't resonate here.

Re: Stoneking-Landmark? Together Again?
While LS has remained to be a turn off for many it still surprises me how big of a turn on he is to some people. I kind of understand if he was the preacher the night you got saved or something, but whatever. I know people that will drive hours to see him. It reminds me of how some people are about the McRib. They'll go all over to find it (him), consume it (his sermon), leave need to get "rid" of the garbage they just took it. It affects too many people. He is something else and that something else isn't a good thing, IMO.

His ministry helped us decide leave the UPC, long before HMH was even discovered. But I know he is loved and his ministry revered.
