Yes he did.

Probably didn't have the room to hold it in. All the folks that their regular church canceled... wanted to have live church.

No, he spoke with state officials and came to a compromise.

One of the suggestions was dumb ... they floated the idea of the church splitting up into groups of 50 all around the church campus (massive campus) in different rooms and everything to be in compliance with the 50 person rule.

That would have been even worse than being in the same room, IMO.

I appreciate that he didn't outright thumb his nose at them, but did attempt to work within (or around) the rules.

It will be interesting to see what they do now that Louisiana is now under stay-at-home guidelines.

Look at what's going on. Contagion contagion contagion but the responses by government AND people do not actually match what is being claimed. Hello? Does that not indicate something wrong with the thought flow here?

Quarantine - genuine quarantine - means ISOLATION FROM ANY POSSIBLE VECTORS OF TRANSMISSION.

I am not the one arguing for quarantines and isolation, I am just arguing for CONSISTENCY in reasoning processes.

I think this discussion has gone off the deep-end!

We can't live in a safe bubble. There is no way to completely and totally isolate oneself from every single little thing that might harm us.

You missed the whole point anyway. The point was to find something to do to make a difference to someone who is suffering hardship because of all this. I'm making care packages just to try to make a difference for those needing encouragement.

What are you doing?
