Blessings about Genesis creation

What's so wonderful when we read the book of Genesis in the account of Creation in chapter one, is the patterns that are revealed in the creation.

The first day saw God say let there be light, and the fourth day he said let there be lights. And those lights, in the form of the sun moon and stars, filled their spaces.

On the second day he separated the waters above from those beneath, with an expanse or firmament. The fifth day saw God create the whales and the sea creatures, as well as the birds, that in turn filled the expanse and the waters.

On the third day he caused the dry land to appear with vegetation, and on the sixth day he created animals and beasts as well as man to fill that dry land and to eat those herbs and vegetation.

The first three days are God forming the Earth because it was without form, and the last 3 days were God, filling those places so that it would not be void nor empty.

And what's wonderful is that the second new creation, into which we are saved, is that we have been formed so that we would also fill this world with a supernatural life that's beyond just the natural life that was made in Genesis.

I also see law foreshadowed, and followed by Grace, in the Genesis week. . It took them three days to get from Egypt to Mt. Sinai, if they took a direct route, which is what Moses spoke to Pharaoh about.

And it was also a three-day Journey from Mount Sinai to Canaan according to what Numbers tells us.

A little interesting tidbit, is that we leave Law (Sinai) and go to Grace through Jesus Christ's three days through the death, burial and Resurrection.

So in a sense we see a pattern of law in the first three days of Genesis creation, followed by New Covenant Grace in the second set of three days. And this brings us to the 6th day when man is made in God's image.

Law has no real life in it, so it's the oldness of the letter as opposed to the newness of the Spirit which is the ministration of life and spirit. Law is only the elements of the world, or the foundation places where God would make us, as new in a new creation, to fill and live.

And of course the Seventh-Day Sabbath would be the actual entrance into the land of Canaan, which foreshadows the finished work that Christ did on the cross, into which we enter and rest.

It's interesting that when the third day arrived for Israel to go to Sinai, in the sense of the direct route time, that Moses mentioned to pharaoh, there wasn't the significant thing that happened on the third day after Jesus rose from the dead. On the third day, when Jesus Christ Resurrected, which would be compared to the 6th day of the Genesis which is the third day of the second set of three days, Jesus breathed on them and told them to receive the Holy Ghost. Just like God breathed into Adam the Breath of Life, Jesus gives the life of the Holy Spirit.

Do the two stories correlate? Adam actually became alive when God breathed into him. However I dont think the disciples received the Holy Ghost until the day of Pentecost.

You're right, but it was a foreshadow of the day of Pentecost, to inform us when that day came that it would be a new creation when they actually received it.
