New SUB forums

I have created two sub forums catagories. One is Islam and the other is Mormonism 101

Please put all relevant discussions there.

Suggest some other sub catagories if you like. This will keep important discussions from being buried and also so we can use these as resources in the future when dealing with these issues or groups

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: New SUB forums

Seems like this is more for fringe Christian groups and/or puedo Christian groups.
Is that right?

If so, and if interests demands it, perhaps some sub forums for Jehovah's Witnessess, Christadelphians, Roman Catholics, & Orthodox might be in order. *shrugs*

Re: New SUB forums

I believe that a section devoted to Jehovah's Witnesses could be useful. I have found them to be extremely receptive to listening to you, once they realize you reject the trinity as false doctrine. it gives us a common ground that other groups do not have.

Re: New SUB forums

Indeed, JWs are surprised at first when they learn that there are non-JW Christians who reject the Trinity. And then they tend to become receptive to listening. If a sub-forum can be made for the purpose of attracting interest from other non-Apostolic groups, for the purpose of dialogue and exposing them to Apostolic beliefs, and in the prayerful hope of bringing them into the Truth, it might not be a bad idea to have sub-forums for MANY varying groups.
