Calvary Chapel Sunday School Curriculum

I've been using materials off of Calvary Chapel's Sunday School site lately, as we're a small church, and I've been impressed on how extensive it is. There was a thread about Calvary Chapel a while back, but I couldn't find it.

It's a non-denom type church, I think (I don't really know much about it), but I haven't had any trouble doctrinally with Sunday School material yet.

Calvary Chapel is a trinitarian Pentecostal denomination that started back during the Jesus People movement (late 1960s, early 1970s) with one church: Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, CA. That church was (and perhaps still is) the home of the Maranatha Singers - who brought us the Praise series of music (Praise 1, Praise 2....Praise 20...) including songs like "Father I adore you," "Sing Hallelujah to the Lord," and numerous other praise songs that are sung in numerous churches of a wide variety of denominations. Chuck Smith is still the pastor of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa.

Supposedly they'll even send a CD with all the lessons for free!

That is par for the course for Calvary chapels...they believe in teaching the bible book by book from Genesis to Revelation...

As a result you won't find very often where the pastor deviates from that with a message he feels God put on his heart for someone in the congregation or for that matter the gifts in operation

Re: Calvary Chapel Sunday School Curriculum

I am glad to hear that the Lord has blessed you through this curriculum. The site has needed an update for awhile. So we have done so. If you go to www.CalvaryCurriculum.com That is the new site. As before everything is free along with a lot more material and much more will be added in the near future. God bless.
