Well, being BORN and RAISED in CA, when I moved to Texas, I was shocked at how nice they were. My parents were born in the south but we always lived in CA. So when my dad's job transfered him, they ended up in a LITTLE town in central TX. I felt like life stopped. It took a while to get used to it. Everyone was VERY NICE...my BF who lives in So CA came to Texas for GC and she loved the people. Ya'll want some TEA...

My vote may go to Tenn.
From Texas to the Carolinas however is very hospitable stretch

Further east in Canada you go, the friendlier they are. Newfoundland beats all the rest of Canada. I'm not from there, so I am not speaking out of bias. I did marry a girl from there. That says something. lol

I think the South in general is very friendly but I have to vote for Tennessee.
