Praxeas: You are unwilling to watch the vedios. Can't you find them? I will post them so you can watch them.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Post them! I'd like to see them too. I know one of these men personally and do not believe for one minute he said what you claim. Put up or shut up. No Apostolic believes Jesus is the second part of the Godhead.

We believe Col 2:8,9 and 1 Tim 3:16. Do you?? No, you do not. So you attempt to attack us backhandedly by trying to smear two of our leaders. Show me the video. Or find a new hobby!

So, since the Son is not eternal, is the Son God?

The Son is NOT a created being. That is a heresy that the Church put down centuries ago and is not taught in scripture.

The concept however, of a Co-eternal, Co-equal Son who is the second person of the Godhead makes no sense. The very concept of a "Son" implies a beginning. The Son had a beginning in Bethlehem. Prior to that He existed in the form of the Eternal, One True and Living God.

The Son is God manifest in the flesh I Timothy 3:16; Col. 2:8-9.

I think we're saying the same thing, but with different vernacular. When I say "son", I'm specifically referring to the humanity of Jesus (who had a definite beginning). Yes, Jesus is God. Jesus is also the son of God, but in His humanity only, not His deity. When I say "created being", I'm specifically referring to the man, Christ Jesus. I probably could have worded that better, though.

Yeah, we are just using different vernacular. I would not use the concept of "created being." however, I see that we agree in principle.

You are misunderstanding the issue. The "Son" is the manifestation of God in the flesh. The title "Son" refers to His humanity which began in Bethlehem. He existed from all eternity prior to that as God. He still retained His "Godhood" while He was on Earth.

That really doesn't answer the question "is the son God".
