Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

I see it as the head always in charge. We act under His direction.

This is my view on the United States- when in prayer, recently, God has brought to my mind that trouble is what causes mankind to turn to Him. He has instructed me to look away from the trouble and trust Him in this chaos in our country.

I, therefore, can’t look at the US in such a negative way. The Lord has written that He knows how we are framed, He remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:14

If the Word says that “No man can come to me, except the Father which has sent me draw him:...”, why would we have such a negative and IMO a depressing view of things.

If there is trouble in our country now, which there is, we should pray for people and rejoice that God would draw people to Him. It doesn’t matter to me what caused a person to be driven to the foot of the cross. It only matters that they arrived. Trouble brought me to God. He drew me through that trouble. I found out that no one cared for me like Jesus.

I can’t look negatively at individuals doing wrong things, I can only pray God would began a plan in a person’s life that would cause their eyes to turn to Him. The journey will be different and the time factor will be different.

My job is to remain faithful, prayerful, hopeful and joyful.

I believe that our prayer is what gives us direction from the Head. We are never fully in charge of anything.

Do you use spaghetti noodles? Or angel hair pasta? We like angel hair pasta, or at least thin spaghetti noodles. Sometimes we use linguini noodles.
