Those Who Battled Addictions Last Year Will...

have to fight this year too.

There will be at least one day of weakness this year. While I am feeling strong and mighty in the Lord today, I came across this song.

It was GREAT to hear now, but there will be a day where I will NEED to hear this message.

So I am starting this thread-- kinda like "sending up my timbre" I think that's the phrase.

Kinda like storing up prayer time and time in the scriptures so that I don't find myself temporarily defeated in my time of weakness.

Kinda like investing in gold because there might be a day where the dollar isn't worth much.

One of the most encouraging stories in the Bible for me is the one of Daniel. He was a man of prayer before his test even came.

Let's not wait until the day of our test to become men and women of prayer.

I know I won't!

Well I don't mean it to be creepy.

I mean it to be encouraging for the Christian who has and possibly is struggling with an addiction of any sort.

Some people are not as prone to addiction as others.

The reality with some people and some addictions, "falling", "failure", "relapse" is a definite possibility. This reality is what gives wisdom to some behavior modifications that other Christians proudly call "standards".
