I think it has as well. But "aboriginals" is not catching on yet, as the initiator of this thread has proved.

Our natives here are called by most ,First Nation people,a term they prefer.we are fortunate to have several attending our church and have had a First Nation outreach for sometime,with a weekly service on one of the reserves.
