rkentsmith, with respect my brother. Why is it that the healing needs to come from Brother Haney showing up at Tulsa and telling those men he will undo the will of the Conference?
can you explain that? I sure would like to know your thinking on this.

I didn't leave, i'm only in Omaha on short-term assignment. Company has me here on per diem, and I fly home every other weekend. Should be back home full time in the spring, if not sooner.

Bro. Eastman the reason that revival has been hindered is that the UPCI has been divided against itself. Now with the vote in Tampa we are seeing some leave and some stay. I think it is a good thing for both sides. Those who leave will have more unity among them then they had while remaining in the UPCI and vice versa.
I really would like to say that your point is good, however, there seems to be somewhat of an indication that this will not work. I base this on the fact that as I have said in my previous post, in some towns there are more than one Apostolic church that fight about things even though they do not belong to the exact same organization. People in smaller towns see this all the time, if we would just worry about outreach rather than fighting about petty things then I would say that you have a valid point. The problem is that healing needs to take place to root out bitterness before an effective outreach can begin. I wouldn't want to go to a sick church, would you?
As I mentioned yesterday, Peter and Paul were both tremendous men of God, and withstood each other to the face, parted ways, and impacted their world.
To refer to the UPC as the "house" that Jesus refers to is incorrect - it's the "church" that he's referring to, and whether you are a part of the organization or not has nothing to do with whether you are part of the "church" or not.
Peter and Paul parted ways when they were able to be a world apart. This wouldn't work in the same town.

And you think it's working now?

Can not be done.
He had no will to sway the vote one way or another. He as the chair remained neutral.
Unfair analogy.
Imagine the furor of those gleeful it passed, who are already on TV anyway if such a move was taken by an ELECTED official.
(Sorry you asked opinion of RKS, not me)
