Re: David And The Giants-Apostolic Rock
I grew up listening to David & the Giants. At one time I had several CDs, but over the years and moving around, I loaned them out to people and lost them. Last year I went to their website and purchased a few of them again.
Manificat
Still Rockin'
Distant Journey
Almost met them once back in '95. We were on our way to BOTT and were driving through Mississippi. We started passing a bus and saw it had "David & the Giants" painted on the side. We radio'd them on the CB and tried getting them to make a pit stop for some autographs and pictures, but they were trying to make it to a concert that night.

Saw them thrice over the years. Best MINISTRY band I ever saw. I first saw them in a PBS documentary maybe early 80's. Great music and then preached Acts 2:38.
They ALWAYS preached holiness and getting ready for the rapture.

David and the Giants sang at one of my high school proms way back in the early 70s.

I was actually listening to Davids testimony the other day and he said it was Keith who brought the band to Christ! He told David, Rayburn and Clayburn we gotta change the words of our songs to words about Jesus!
David said we are opening for Styx next week we cant change the words.
Keith I said "I quit the band right now".

Re: David And The Giants-Apostolic Rock
David Huff sang this morning at The Pentecostals of Maryville, pastored by Kenneth Carpenter. IIRC, he's the Superintendent of the ALJC
He's introduced approximately 28 minutes into the video. The first song he sings is one of my favorite D&G songs.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed hearing his testimonies. May God continue to use and bless them.
