Re: Something I watched today

God uses willing warriors to protect the lives and rights of pacifists.

God has never been a pacifist and I will never be a pacifist.

War and bloodshed are necessary evils, some say. However, when it is truly necessary, the act of war itself is not evil.

War can be honorable. War can be good.

Pacifism can be cowardly.

Have you been in combat, outside the FOB? I'm just wondering.

Re: Something I watched today

Some will mistake meekness for weakness.

Cowards fear what they will lose, how they're pride will be affected and such. I fear God. I'm not afraid of "your" enemies.

We are worlds apart on this. I see them as sick and in need of The Physician. (As am I, surely).

Live by the sword and you will die by the sword

you seem to be neglecting the lesson of Peter cutting off an ear; i can't think of a better time to use a sword than in defense of Christ, so please name it if you will.

Re: Something I watched today

Well I think Mr Boyd was trying to tell us to identify the enemy. And to that I agree. A little self-examination will reveal the enemy is not all that far off. Not easily recognizable when we are full of pride and self worth.

Don't fret, you aren't a part of any Christian nation. You can sleep soundly now.

Hmm. Self isn't the only enemy, though.

Re: Something I watched today

Who else keeps me from being close to Christ? Mark them and they will become my enemy too.
