I equate powerful with the Word being confirmed with signs following--people repenting, receiving the Holy Ghost, being delivered and being healed.
And I am all for that kind of power. God intends for us to see that power at work in our midst.
I guess I missed out on the seminar touting this wielding power over men stuff...
Surely that isn't what most Apostolics think of when they think of power. It is the power of God, not the power of human will and the wisdom that is earthly and sensual and devilish. I am not that cynical about the Church to think that that is the most common perception of power.
