Rare or well done?

How do you like your steaks? I like mine rare... to medium. But, now I am at a crossroads. I don't know which path to take. Sounds stupid, but, is it a sin to eat a steak that is not "well-done"?

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Was this a prohibition of blood, or was the writer addressing a cultural/religious/pagan issue of his day?

I think we talked about not too long ago because everyone made fun of me. I said, "Burn it if you have to, just don't leave it pink."

I cannot stand raw meat!!
