They are defunding the local police, because of their local loyalties, and going to replace them with military police which have loyalties to the federal government.

You are talking about Robin Sage. It is the annual SF graduation exercise, they do it every year and have since the 50s. The course involves the candidates going into a rural area, recruiting locals to build a guerrilla army to fight a successful resistance against an oppressive regime. The locals actually participate.

People act like this is some new nefarious thing. Unless the fundamental mission of Army SF has changed, then Robin Sage is all about creating a rural guerrilla resistance against a tyrannical illegitimate government. Which is what it has always been about.

I'd be more concerned about the various Jade Helm exercises and the fact the current head of the USPHS Commissioned Corps is a 4 star admiral who thinks he's a woman.
