Re: Prayer for Rev. Greg Albritton and Children
When I heard about this yesterday it made my heart heavy. For a mother to commit suicide in front of her six year old son is something I can't comprehend. I know from all accounts she was a good mother who, in her right mind, would never do such a thing.
The enemy attacks each of us in whatever area is our weakness. I think depression is a gateway for evil and if someone suffers from it they should seek help in every form available. Prayer for healing, medical tests to look for chemical imbalances in the body, counseling to find a root cause if it is possible and deal with it, and lastly if really needed medication, at least temporarily, to help.
I can't imagine the pain and suffering the surviving husband and children are going through. They will be in my thoughts and prayers.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
