Re: Power In Agreement-One Accord's Situation

Its about 12 midnite here in Alabama and this is the first time I have been able to visit today. Then I see this. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your prayers. You don't know what it means to have your prayers- especially now. To think there are people praying all around the US- and in different countries praying for us. Bro. Ron, my Canadian brother- there is a reason Lola has been on your heart.

At about 3:am on Saturday, Lola woke up and... well I thought the time had come. All day today, it has been like every breath would be her last. At about 4:30 this morning, she was crying and whispered " I don't want to go...but Mother is calling me". I thought surely, this was her time. But, somehow, and I truly believe prayer is why- she is still with us. She's asleep now and I don't know what tomorrow may bring- but whatever it is- I rest in the faithfulness of our Lord. I sat with her all day, singing to her- reassuring her that Jesus is waiting there for her.I sang- What a day that we be, when our Jesus we sahll see, and we look upon His Face, the One who saved us by His grace, and He takes me by the hand, and leads us to the Promised Land, what a day, that will be.

Thats our hope. Thats our faith. So, thank you all for your prayers, and know this- once all this is over- if I can ever be a blessing to you - any of you- in anyway- please call on me. Thank you gain for your prayers. Your prayers has given us one more day together.

For those who wish to call us by name- just tell Him "Rick and Lola". He'll know.

Re: Power In Agreement-One Accord's Situation

Bro. Rick,

Your last post reminded me so much of when my dear mother crossed over.

She had lingered with us, with the doctor and nurses not understanding how

she could have remained for the additional 11 days. Exactly the amount of

time for her one son who was not there to get back from Israel. He got to the

hospital, although she had not showed any sign of life for three days, He kissed

her, telling her it was John, went and got a shower and joined we other ten siblings.

That evening, with her large family gathered in and around her room and bedside, we

softly sang "Glad Reunion Day" and other songs. So peaceful and around midnight when

most of her family, except two sons and wives and a granddaughter who were staying

the night, she slipped away. She had been talking to Dad several days before, who had

been gone for ten years. A lady who dispensed their meds in the evening, reported her

saying, "Daddy,(that what she called my dad) I can barely see you in here, the light is

SO bright. (The room was dark except for one small night light.)

"For it is written, Eye had not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the

heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But

God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; yea, the Spirit searcheth all things,

yea, the deep things of God'. (I Cor. 2:9,10)

He will finish it up in Righteousness, Bro. Rick and Sis. Lola! There will be a "Glad

Reunion Day"!

for those

that love His appearing".

Things are a little better today. She is consciuous, but barely. Ate a little gravy. Is talking some. Hard to understand and hear, but her eyesight is better. Knows everyone. I slept 3 hrs again last night. Am so thankful she is still with us with little or no pain. And am grateful for your prayers and for our Lord who hears and answers.

Sorry that I am just now seeing your posts here, 1A...I need to look up more often.

Glad that things are better today...the One who sees and knows all is there with you and Lola through it all.

Praying here...
