This is one of the foods I added to my diet after being diagnosed as a diabetic. 1 ounce daily. They add fiber and protein and can help with blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure. They are also a good source of antioxidants.

So it's true that pistachios are not actually nuts? So a person who cannot eat peanuts, almonds, or cashews etc could possibly eat pistachios?

That’s the way I eat them, open the shells with my teeth. Pumpkin seeds I eat the seed and shell.

They aren't a true, however people with tree but allergies should avoid them. My oldest has severe nut allergies and can not eat pistachios.

Hey, sweet friend. Have you and your family fully recovered? As for pistachios, in the shell. I find it keeps you from eating to many.
