Visiting my grandaughter

I'm in the metro Denver area visiting my charming granddaughter (and the rest of the family).
We'll be here all week.
While my husband and daughter watched a Rockies game I decided to enjoy the brisk outdoors. It's currently in the mid 40's.
We both bundled up and I took the stroller on the winding paths behind the house.
I had walked a bit further than intended and was happy when we came to a small playground . I let her out to slide and run. After a few minutes it was back in the stroller....NOT. She wanted to walk. It was getting dark but she insisted on walking.
After walking behind me she decided to speed things up and ran ahead this time.
Next thing she's crying loudly from a tumble on the concrete path. I ran and picked her up, and this time put her back in the stroller.

Once home we found skinned knees.
